WALTER C BRIGG CELEBRATE ANOTHER MILESTONE

February 2010 marked a significant milestone in the history of Walter C Brigg Limited - 8 years since our move to the current premises on the Crossings Business Park, Crosshills.

Previously, the family-owned business had traded from premises in nearby Cowling where the company was founded by Walter Brigg in 1946.

During the following 20 years the business operated as a motor vehicle repairer and haulage concern, growing to including local taxi and school bus services and eventually used motor vehicle sales.

Walter C Brigg became Vauxhall agents in 1970 and further expanded its original Cowling site to include new workshops, offices, parts department and car parks whilst also adding Network Q, Vauxhall commercial and 4x4 vehicles to its portfolio.

During 2001 the company was awarded an enlarged Vauxhall territory taking in Keighley and the Airevalley alongside Skipton and the Dales. In order to best serve this new area the Company decided to seek a new more central location and subsequently relocated to brand-new purpose built premises at Crosshills, opening for business on 2nd February 2002.

The dealership provides an extensive range of Vauxhall branded facilities in comfortable, modern surroundings. Next door to our spacious new car showroom, where you'll also find our aftersales and parts reception and customer waiting areas, is our state-of-the-art workshop which  incorporates Vauxhall Masterfit for those incidental while-you-wait services such as tyres, batteries, shock absorbers and exhausts along side the very-latest electronic MOT testing system. Our Parts and Accessories department offers a wide range of products to both the retail and business customer together with a twice daily van delivery service covering North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Lancashire.
